Theacrine (as TeaCrine®)
Theacrine is a purine alkaloid that is similar in structure to caffeine and was originally discovered in Camellia cucha, a type of tea. Similarly to caffeine, it antagonizes the adenosine receptors. This compound is also theorized to act upon the receptors for dopamine in the brain.
